I have to admit, I was very reluctant to even check out a new browser. I absolutely LOVE Firefox and the idea of switching to a different browser has never been something I’ve been interested in. Afterall, the only times I have ever switched browsers was when my current browser wasn’t performing well.

After listening to Leo Laporte’s software pick for the Flock browser I decided to give it a look.

I have now switched my default browser to Flock, it’s built with the Mozilla engine and all the extensions that work on Firefox also work in Flock. My first thought when listening to Leo talk about all the social media integration built into the browser, I thought HOW. I value the screen real estate on my browsers and the thought of all the built in features didn’t seem possible.

I have been pleasantly surprised at how well organized the features are set up, and the browser is gorgeous, and fast.

One of the things I am testing right this very moment is the ability to write to my blog from with in the browser. So if this works as I hope, Flock will be one of my most used tools.

If you’re a social media geek and Firefox user, you will love the Flock browser .

Enjoy … Scott
