For years there has been the debate over eBay’s feedback system, some say it favors the buyer, and others say it favors the seller. I have been involved in several heated discussions about eBay’s feedback system over the past ten years and I have always sided with those who viewed eBay’s feedback as favoring the seller.

Well that has changed, and boy do I ever have a fight on my hands now as I’m sure I will receive a lot of hate mail from my comments here.

There is NOTHING beneficial about eBay’s feedback system, it doesn’t give a bidder any REAL indication as to how well the seller has done at serving his/her customers. The only purpose the feedback system has is to see who can get the highest feedback score. (more…)
