This is one of the many auction titles that are consistantly in violation of the eBay “Compilation and Informational Items” policy.
According to the eBay TOS …
Not contain any specific brand names or keywords unless the listing is offering the item in question.
The auctions you are about to see are in violation because they include brand names in the title. I know this first hand, I have had several auctions shut down for this very reason before I finaly got a clear answer from eBay.
According to the T&S employee who called me regarding a different violation (I had some people after my arse) you can mention brand names in your description, but not the title for a wholesale list.
Take a look at the Xbox 360 Wholesale List Auctions – CLICK HERE
Please take a few moments and report the auctions to eBay by scrolling down to the bottom of each auction page, you will see the link “Report This Item” , click on it and you will be taken to a page where you can select options for which to report the auction.
You will want to select “Listing policy violations …” for your first choice, then “Compilation and informational media” as your second option, then “Inappropriately listed informational items …” as your last option.
Click continue and then click the “email us” link to send the information ti eBay. Somewhere in the process you may be asked to login with your eBay user ID if you are not already logged in.
Doing this will help get clean up this section, some of the sellers just don’t know any better, I was one of them, because eBay’s policy isn’t clear enough in regards to this.
If you have any questions feel free to leave a comment.
